Autonomy/ADAS
We’ve partnered with Carnegie Robotics to develop Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and other automated functions to make boating easier and safer.
We’re ushering in the next wave of marine technology, and we will display it virtually during the 2022 Consumer Electronics Show® (CES®). Brunswick is changing the future of marine technology forever.
*While we deeply value the importance and influence of CES, the health and safety of our employees remains our top priority. As such, we have made the decision to participate in CES virtually this year, showcasing our Next Wave strategy and introducing many of our award-winning products through various digital platforms including our virtual media days.
Wake, waves, current, and wind make driving a boat more dynamic and challenging than driving a car, but the experience at the helm is evolving. Our sensor suite detects obstacles around and below your boat, and Mercury Marine propulsion systems and joystick handling deliver more precise control. We’re working on expanding our situational awareness capabilities to include Stereo Vision and LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) to give drivers even more safety and control.
Watch NowWe’ve partnered with Carnegie Robotics (CRL) to develop Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and other automated functions to make boating easier and safer. CRL’s depth and breadth of autonomous technology will help us advance our autonomy capabilities and continue to lead the marine industry.
Watch NowWe launched the Mercury Marine V12 Verado in May, 2021. As one of the most powerful motors available, this 600-horsepower outboard engine received a 2022 CES Innovation Award. Our propulsion systems are the lightest, quietest, and most fuel-efficient systems with digital controls that elevate your boating experience and support our ACES strategy.
Watch NowThe E1 Series RaceBird electric racing powerboat will introduce sustainability onto the water. Featuring an electric powertrain developed by Mercury Racing®, the RaceBird prototype uses hydrofoil technology to rise above the water’s surface, allowing for minimum drag and maximum energy efficiency. This improves performance and promotes competitive racing with a reduced wake.
