Brunswick Announces "Try It Before You Sell It" Fall Product Premieres
MUSKEGON, Mich., Oct. 5, 2009 – Brunswick Bowling announces its fall series of over 20 seminars designed to “Try it Before You Sell It,” featuring the company’s latest performance bowling balls released this fall -- Wild Card, Diamondback and C•(System) 2.5. All Product Premiere events will include demonstrations of the newest Brunswick balls with the opportunity to buy or pre-purchase.
Bowling legend, Carmen Salvino, who developed the C•(System) 2.5 with Brunswick after months of extensive research and development, will be on-hand during some of the seminars to provide his knowledge and expertise of Chemical Friction Technology (CFT), developed for this ball.
The Pro Shop Product Premieres, offered to pro shops around the country beginning in early October and running through mid-November, offer pro shop operators the opportunity to try the newest Brunswick bowling balls before they sell them. Brunswick has teamed up with Turbo Bowling Accessories to provide its Switch Grip™ Interchangeable Thumb technology, allowing pro shops to actually use the balls before they make a purchasing decision.
“Continuing on the success of the Product Premieres Brunswick hosted earlier this year, we felt this new format was a great way for pro shop owners and operators to really get a feel for the new bowling balls, and it was a way to teach them about the balls’ great performance characteristics so they can relay the benefits to their bowlers,” said Nick Stickler, vice president consumer and after-market products. “We’re also excited to have our partners KR Strikeforce, Dexter and MoRich participate. They add a lot of value to the seminars by offering products and information to complete the bowlers’ arsenal.”
Every Product Premiere, held at local bowling centers, will be co-hosted by Brunswick and at least one local Brunswick distributor. Brunswick product specialists will be on-hand at each event to answer questions and help with ball demonstrations. In addition, every pro shop operator in attendance will receive a Product Premiere-only special.
