Brunswick Plans to Bring Premier Bowling and Entertainment Center to Surprise
LAKE FOREST, Ill., (March 3, 2008) – Brunswick Bowling & Billiards has announced that it is under contract and finalizing due diligence for a site at Waddell and Reems Roads in Surprise, Ariz., to build a Brunswick Zone XL bowling and entertainment center. The company is scheduled to close on the property in early June.
“We are thrilled to bring a premier bowling and entertainment center to the Surprise community,” said Warren Hardie, president of Brunswick Bowling & Billiards. “We believe that our family entertainment concept is perfect for the community given the overall demographics, number of families with kids, the demand for bowling and entertainment venues, and forecasted growth in the area. A Brunswick Zone XL in Surprise is highly anticipated.”
To reflect the changing face of bowling, Brunswick Zone XL – Surprise will feature smoke-free bowling and entertainment for families, friends, groups and businesses seeking to enjoy everything from children's birthday parties to team-building activities to other special occasions. The facility will include state-of-the-art bowling lanes, a fun-filled video game arcade and redemption center, a laser tag arena, Brunswick billiards tables, meeting rooms for corporate events, an upscale lounge, full service food and beverage, and much more. This will be one of the latest locations to join Brunswick's chain of more than 100 bowling and entertainment centers in the United States, Canada and Europe. A similar Brunswick Zone XL facility opened in Gilbert, Ariz. last summer.
A construction date or grand opening date have yet to be determined for this state-of-the-art bowling and entertainment center, which will feature family fun for everyone.
