Life Fitness Granted ISO 9001:2008 Certification
SCHILLER PARK, Ill., Sept. 3, 2009 – Life Fitness manufacturing facilities in Ramsey, Minn., Franklin Park, Ill. and the company’s world headquarters in Schiller Park, Ill. have achieved certification to the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System for the Design and Manufacture of Cardiovascular and Strength Exercise Equipment by TÜV SÜD America Inc., one of the world’s top-rated registrars. This is an upgrade of the company’s original ISO 9001 certification.
Upgrade of the ISO 9001 certification serves as part of the company’s pursuit of continuous quality improvement. “Life Fitness is dedicated to continual improvement in all aspects of our organization to ensure we provide the best customer satisfaction possible,” said John Stransky, president of Life Fitness. “Our employees’ efforts in helping secure the ISO 9001:2008 certification clearly demonstrate the extra lengths we’ll go to ensure the satisfaction of our customers.”
