John E. Stransky
Vice President and President - Life Fitness Division
Mr. Stransky is Vice President of Brunswick Corporation and President - Life Fitness Division having assumed that responsibility in February 2006. Prior to that he served as President - Brunswick Bowling & Billiards, a position he had held since February 2005. Prior to that assignment, Mr. Stransky was President - Brunswick Billiards, a job he had held since 1998.
During his tenure at Brunswick Billiards, Mr. Stransky oversaw a period of growth and revitalization, including a very successful and comprehensive re-branding effort.
Mr. Stransky joined Brunswick in 1981 as Product Manager for Pins, Finishes and Supplies in Brunswick Bowling. During the next 17 years, he held various positions of increasing responsibility within the Bowling Division, including Vice President of Capital Equipment Sales from 1993 through 1996 and Vice President of the Electronics Unit from 1996 through 1998.
Mr. Stransky has a bachelor's degree from the University of Kansas and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Arizona.
